Super Cold in Savannah

It's super cold. Took the bike out last night but it was just too cold to ride around and enjoy the place. This morning I went out to the car to get some maps and decided that I will retire the bike 'til Key West. I will walk around a bit this morning and then I'm off to the Hayes.

Biggie's in Savannah

Biggie called last night. He was in Savannah staying in a cheap motel. He's been eating breakfasts at Wendy's and the rest of the time at Arby's. YUK. Serves him right. I'm cuddled up in my warm apartment watching tv, playing with my computer, eating sausage and eggs for breakfast and boeuf bourguignon for dinner. YUM. I deserve it!

Hey, Where's Biggie?

Last night Biggie was in Fredericksburg, Virginia. He had a place that was cheap w/ no wifi. The weather there was cold, 12 degrees. Hehe - poor Biggie goes south and leaves me here to work in cold New England and then it is warmer here. Serves him right. Haven't heard from him today Sunday.

Getting ready for the big trip.

I am now very busy getting ready for my trip and there seems to be so many things that have to be done before I leave. I don't think I will ever get out of here but it is very exciting.

Nantucket 2008

Here I am in Nantucket all happy. I was not so happy this morning after getting up at 5:30 however. The house is freezing. It's a long way down here by car and a long time on the slow cheap ferry. I got a nice bargain off season room by not panicking with a reservation, but went to the visitors center upon arrival to check on last minute vacancies. Anyway, I'm happy on my bike tooting around the island. I'm e-mailing from the Antheneum which is old and historic and is now the local library so everything is free. Hee, hee.
